The Valtice Chateau

The Liechtenstein Estates – a World Cultural Heritage Site

About 7 km away from us you will find yourself in a unique part of Southern Moravia – the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO-listed garden of Europe.

Lednice Chateau – the hunting resort of the Princes of Liechtenstein - with its green house, its gardens and a unique 60-m minaret offering a stunning view from the Pálava Mountains in the West to the Low Carpats in the East.

Valtice Chateau – the former residence of the Princes of Liechtenstein. Visit the recently restored chapel and the Chateau´s wine cellars and don´t miss the vast expanse of the Chateau´s gardens – the site of medieval plays and musical events in the summer season.

Hlohovec Manor – a picturesque site in an idyllic scenery which once marked the border between Lower Austria and Moravia with half of the Manor on one and the other half on the other side (up to 1920).

Savor the special flair of the many smaller manors around Valtice, most of them hidden in dense forests.
